A. Opening remarks
1. Who We Are
- Tributary Trails, is at present, a group of people interested in appropriate recreational, and
economic development in the Connecticut River watershed. We are now a not-for profit-organization
(Incorporating Board Members: Dale Miller, Joe Cabaup, Sheldon Towne, Preston Gilbert, and
Ginny Difrancesco) to encourage appropriate recreation and tourism by providing local residents
and visitors with programs, information, well placed trails, and access along the tributaries of the
Connecticut River. The North Country Council will give guidance and support to Tributary Trails
as part of their River Basin initiative.

- Riparian/Historic Development along John's River
- Bird/Nature Project for Elementary Schools to be expanded into VT (help from Wal*Mart)
- Rt 3 Trailhead (John Dodge land) for TT linking Weed Pond, Blood Pond
- Introduce Project Serve to local HS
- Introduce Project Serve to local middle schools via a project
- CLL to sponser fresh water ecology
- Project to create the Ammonoosuc River Watershed Council
- Project to promote Watershed Wellness Group for the Johns River Watershed
- Project to promote Watershed Wellness Group for the Israel River Watershed
- Create a Watershed Event for our local Rivers, re: Economic and Environmental Health
- Investgate the role of a town's Planning Board in protecting the river environment.
- Reasearch available watershed and biological monitoring for the North Country
